Mitsubishi Xforce hits 1,000 bookings in a week - RM5k early bird rebate, Buy 1 Free 1 contest extended ahead of April launch
Berita KeretaThe Mitsubishi Xforce is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about new B-segment SUVs of the year, with bookings already crossing the 1,000-unit mark just a week after order books officially opened on February 5, 2026. The strong early demand has prompted Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) to sweeten the deal further ahead of the model’s official market launch in April.
When the Xforce was previewed earlier this month, MMM announced an early bird package offering a RM5,000 rebate to the first 1,000 customers. That quota has now been fully snapped up in record time. Encouraged by the response, the company has decided to extend the same RM5,000 rebate to the next 1,000 buyers, effectively doubling the number of customers who can enjoy the launch incentive.
While final pricing will only be confirmed closer to the April on-sale date, tentative on-the-road prices (without insurance) currently peg the base Urban variant at around RM110,000, with the range-topping Ultimate estimated at RM120,000. With the early bird rebate factored in, those figures drop to approximately RM105,000 and RM115,000 respectively, making the Xforce an even more compelling proposition in the crowded B-SUV space.
“We are truly grateful for the tremendous response to the Mitsubishi Xforce. Achieving over 1,000 bookings within just one week is a strong testament to the confidence Malaysians have in our brand and in this exciting new SUV. The extension of our early bird package is our way of thanking customers for their trust and enthusiasm,” said Takashi Sakamaki, CEO of MMM.
“We are also confident that our nationwide dealer network is fully prepared to deliver a seamless ownership experience, from booking to aftersales support. With the Xforce being locally assembled, it further demonstrates our long-term commitment to Malaysia. We believe the Xforce will set a new benchmark in its segment and continue to strengthen Mitsubishi Motors’ presence in the market,” he added.
For those that need a little refresher, the Xforce is locally assembled (CKD) by Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia in Pekan, Pahang, and both available variants are powered by the brand’s familiar 4A91 1.5-litre naturally aspirated MIVEC petrol engine, also found in the Xpander. Paired with a CVT driving the front wheels, the engine produces 105 PS at 6,000 rpm and 141 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.
Opting for the Ultimate variant brings a generous equipment list, highlighted by automatic LED lighting, leatherette seats with Mocha accents, a White Mélange weave dashboard finish, dual-zone air-conditioning with nanoe-X air purification, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Convenience and tech are further boosted by selectable drive modes, wireless charging, ambient lighting, a hands-free powered tailgate, front and rear dashcams and - a highlight in its class - a premium 8-speaker sound system from Yamaha.
Safety is equally comprehensive, with six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring and a suite of active driver aids including autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lead car departure notification and auto high beam, rounding out the Xforce’s well-balanced appeal ahead of its official debut.
