Four Vehicles Seized, 12 Summonses Given In First Two Days Of 'Ops Samseng Jalan Raya'

An operation carried out by Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM), dubbed ‘Ops Samseng Jalan Raya’ has resulted in 12 summonses issued in its first two days. 

According to The Sun Daily, the operation itself was executed along the Grand Saga Highway on Saturday the 20th, and Sunday the 21st of June and involved 47 traffic police personnel from Kajang, Selangor, and Kuala Lumpur

ASP Azmi Wahid, KL Traffic Special Enforcement Unit chief told the daily the violations that warranted the summonses given included not having driving licenses, road tax, as well as vehicle registration numbers that did not matching legal specifications.

The operation also focused on apprehending errant motorcyclists. By the end, four vehicles were seized over the first two days of the operation.
