Nissan GT-R Crashes Twice Into A Mercedes-Benz C-Class In Hong Kong

Auto News

Speeding and tailgating on public roads will mostly result in one thing, a crash and this dashcam video shot in Hong Kong pretty much confirms that.

The 30 second long video starts of relatively calmly as we see the driver behind the wheel merely going along normally. Enter the six second mark and we see a brand new Mercedes-Benz C-Class enter the frame on the right, going at a significant amount of speed just as the road forks in two directions, with Nissan GT-R charging behind it.

Now, we’re not very certain why the Nissan was as close as it was behind the Mercedes-Benz. Our guess is the two were racing and both failed to see the red light in time. As the C-Class braked very late before the traffic lights, the GT-R rear-ended him.

Thankfully no one was hurt in the incident as the Mercedes managed to avoid the unaware motorcyclist, jumping into the recording vehicle’s lane across the white painted lines. The bizarre bit is after the initial crash, the Mercedes then brake checks the Nissan, resulting in it being rear-ended again.

Let this be a lesson then never to tailgate or drive excessively quickly on public roads.
