Geely Asks For Your Help To Name The Binyue SUV

Just days after giving its SX11 subcompact SUV a new name, Geely is now reaching out via Facebook asking users for suggestions of an English name.

In China, the SX11 compact SUV will be called the Binyue (缤越) when it goes on sale later this year.

The Geely Boyue is also called the X7 Sport outside of China

This comes after the Geely Boyue, which was renamed as the X7 Sport after the model was introduced overseas, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Argentina.

To recap, the Geely Binyue is the second model after the Binrui to ride on the company’s latest BMA platform. Power comes from a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine that outputs 177 hp and 255 Nm. Combined with a quick shifting 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Geely Binyue completes the century sprint in just 7.9 seconds.
