Tesla Model Y starts delivery in Malaysia, priced starts at RM195k- buyers get complimentary home charging support

The highly anticipated New Model Y began its first deliveries in Malaysia - Tesla Delivery Centre Cyberjaya, Tesla Service Centre Penang and Tesla Service Centre Johor. The delivery of New Model Y marks another milestone by Tesla Malaysia and continues to promote the switch from ICE vehicles to EV in Malaysia.

Launched globally in January this year, the New Model Y arrives in two variants, Rear- wheel drive and Long Range, with prices starting from RM 195,450 and RM 242,450 respectively. Model Y has been the world’s best-selling vehicle and awarded with the highest safety ratings for years, the newly launched Model Y continues to uphold the advanced technology with innovation and performance. With the industry first indirect reflective body panel taillight and the new cross lightbar at the front, New Model Y gives a bespoke design inspired by the Cybertruck and Cybercab.

Like all existing Tesla owners, New Model Y owners can enjoy complimentary charging at all 15 Destination Charging Stations with 70 Destination Chargers and the lowest Supercharging rate of RM 1.19/kwH at all 14 Supercharging Stations with 64 Superchargers in Malaysia. Six Supercharging stations coming soon this year, including Pavilion Damansara Heights, Bangsar South, IPC Shopping Centre, I-City Finance Avenue, The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey and Toppen Shopping Centre. Tesla is committed and will continue putting efforts in building charging infrastructure to provide a comprehensive seamless charging experience for all Tesla owners.

Tesla is excited to invite both new and existing owners to take part in the Refer & Earn program, designed to celebrate the shared joy of driving a Tesla. Through this program, owners and their friends can collaborate to unlock rewards of up to RM 15,000 annually.

Customers can enjoy complimentary home charging support and a low-interest rate financing scheme to own a Tesla vehicle with a total incentive of up to RM 28,000. Tesla has recently launched the Green Mobility Incentives Program to support like-minded organisations and their employees to enable the use of electric vehicles for a more sustainable future.
