Selected Proton Outlets to Operate Full 7-Day Weeks; GPS Locations Listed
所有资讯Proton customers will have all week to service and repair their vehicles at selected authorized outlets effective immediately. Beginning 6 August 2016, nine Proton Edar 2S and 3S service centres will operate full business hours on all seven days of the week.
The move is part of Proton’s renewed Customer First initiative in which the company has been intensifying its effort to improve on after sales. The seven-day service is aimed at reducing customers’ service waiting time and thus provide additional flexibility for customers to send their cars for servicing and maintenance over the weekends.
“When we started the seven-day operations at selected service outlets prior to this, it was to accommodate normal service and opening hours were only until 12 noon on Sunday. Now, for selected service centres we have extended the opening hours for Sunday up to 5 pm. More importantly, we have also enabled warranty claims to be processed during weekends as opposed to only weekdays previously.” said Dato’ Ahmad Fuaad Kenali, Chief Executive Officer of Proton Holdings Bhd.
The facility will be expanded to a further 14 service centres from 1 October 2016 followed by another four from 1 December 2016. The business hours for all these outles are from 8 am to 5 pm, Mondays to Sundays. Visits by appointments are encouraged, although walk-in customers are welcomed as well. Outlets selected for seven-day operation are identified based on demand and requirements of the area.
Additionally, effective 1 August 2016, Proton has revised prices for selected parts such as turbocharger, ECU, and transmission assemblies, lowering them by between 12 and 30 percent.
