Someone bought a Shoei helmet for RM86,000

所有资讯

Someone in Malaysia has just spent RM86,000 on a Shoei open-face helmet, and we're all sorts of questions come to mind.

Why is definitely one, but when the question is asked to most Japanese helmet enthusiasts, the Shoei J-Force 2 Jack finished in Yellow is certainly a rare and wonderful piece to own. But is worth the RM86,000 price paid by the new owner?

RM86k helmet sold by FT Garage Racing

The price that was paid in cash by the new owner of the Shoei J-Force 2 Jack helmet in question was sold by FT Garage Racing. This figure can clearly get you the range-topping Perodua Alza model plus over RM10,000 in change for thousands of kilometres worth of fuel and TNG top-ups.

It's clearly a crazy world we're living in now but to serious collectors, owning one of these rare Shoei open-face helmets is a big deal that can only be compared to owning a rare JDM where the prices have skyrocketed over the years. In the name of interest and passion, we can only say "To each their own".

With that being said, you can expect a lot of comments saying "RM86k?? Baik beli (fill in your answer here)..."
