Prior to KLIMS, key figures in the automotive stakeholders and industry experts exchanged ideas and fostered collaboration through the two-day Kuala Lumpur International Automotive Conference (KLIAC). Carlist.my was invited as one of the panel speakers to provide insights into how consumers shop for a vehicle today.

Visitors to the show were also eligible to enter a lucky draw which prizes that included new cars. The lucky draw winners were drawn on the last day of the Motor Show, with a live streaming over social media. Each of the three lucky winners were notified immediately, but the stars and moon must have aligned perfectly for grand prize winner Wan Afedizal bin Wan Ariffin as he and his family were present at the announcement on Sunday night!

Wan Afedizal won the Toyota C-HR, while Tan Tse Thye will be enjoying a new Honda City, and Ng Mei Ching will be receiving the key fob to a new Perodua Myvi.

MAA is looking forward to the next presentation of KLIMS with more members across-the-board participating so that Malaysia and the automotive industry players can continue to develop and maintain a strong motoring culture in Malaysia.
