2017 Kia Picanto - This Is How The New Picanto Looks Like

Kia Motors has today released images of the all-new third-generation Picanto, one of the company’s global best-selling cars.

Penned by Kia’s design centres in Namyang, Korea and Frankfurt, Germany, the third-gen Picanto hopes to inject energetic and vibrant character into the A-segment. The car you see here is decked out in Kia’s ‘GT-Line’ specification – designed to be assertive and command a sporty stance through bold body lines and sculpted surfaces.

The new car has a 15mm longer wheelbase (2,385 mm to 2,400 mm) and Kia has also pushed the wheels further out towards each corner. There are 11 body colour options that are offered, to suit a wide variety of taste buds.

On the Inside, the Picanto’s will offer greater comfort, convenience and safety features – set amidst a modern and refined new cabin design. The focal point of the cabin space is the ‘floating’ touchscreen infotainment system, delivering the latest in-car infotainment technology.

The third-gen Picanto will also allow greater potential for customer personalisation, with buyers able to choose from a range of colours for trim and upholstery.

Buyers of the all-new Picanto will enjoy smarter packaging efficiency than ever before, with more cabin and cargo space than rivals in the segment. Despite the growth in wheelbase, the Picanto retains its compact dimensions. Shorter front overhang and longer rear overhang means the all-new model is the same length (3,595 mm) as the car it replaces.

Kia will reveal the all-new Picanto to the public for the first time at the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show in March, and will go on sale at the end of the third quarter of 2017.
