Proton Debuts New Look At Its First Upgraded 4S Centre

Proton today unveiled the brand’s new look of their 3S and 4S centres. According to the company, the new look of a predominantly teal-coloured frontage with a contrasting mix of grey and white interior represents a global lifestyle, technology-driven, youthful exuberance, and caring attitude.  

The refreshed Proton look was also a part of the new elements in the upgrading of the Setia Gemilang Auto to a 4S centre that is located in Subang, Selangor.

CEO of Proton, Dr Li Chunrong, officiated the opening ceremony and highlighted the importance of the upgrading exercise, “We care for our customers’ needs and we want to emphasise that customer satisfaction remains our key priority. Most importantly, we want to convey the message of a brand new Proton moving forward.”

The upgraded Setia Gemilang Auto 4S centre covers a land area of 2 acres. At the entrance, there are parking lots for up to 50 customers. The showroom floor meanwhile is able to accommodate 11 display cars as well as a 30-seat customer lounge with café and internet facilities, together with a kid’s corner. Customers can also renew their insurance at the service counters.

At the workshop section, a total of 14 service hoists are fitted, with at least six designated for express service work scope.  A dedicated body and paint section is also available at this upgraded 4S centre, with 12 work bays plus a spray-painting booth.

Director of Setia Auto Gemilang Sdn. Bhd., Mr Andrew Quek Tze Kean mentioned, ”Today is one of the happiest days of my life, as finally, the Setia Gemilang outlet has been successfully upgraded to meet to Proton 4S requirements. A lot of work has been put in to ensure what we witnessed today, materialise. I thank my team for the effort and great work, and Proton for their continuous support,”

“I am excited about this new development and I hope this welcomes many more business opportunities for sales and service growth,” added Mr Andrew Quek.

The launch of Setia Auto Gemilang 4S centre was part of Proton’s direction to upgrade its outlet nationwide to a total of 109 outlets of 3S and 4S status in preparation of the coming new SUV model scheduled for launch in late September to early October.  

To further mark the momentous occasion, Setia Gemilang Auto also handed out mock keys during a simple delivery ceremony to 10 of its new customers.
