Toyota Hilux 2015

The eighth generation Toyota Hilux was launched in Malaysia in 2016 and is the generation that is currently sold today. The Toyota Hilux was launched in six variants - Hilux Single Cab 2.4 (MT), Hilux Double Cab 2.4 STD (MT), Hilux Double Cab 2.4 (MT), Hilux Double Cab 2.4 G (MT), Hilux Double Cab 2.4 G (AT) and Hilux Double Cab 2.8 G (AT). The Toyota Hilux exterior receives a black grille, black manual wing mirrors and 16-inch wheels as standard while the Hilux interior gets urethane steering wheel, PVC seats and a 2-DIN radio/CD player. The Double Cab 2.4 STD (MT) adds on power-adjustable wing mirrors, plastic wheel covers, standard bedliner, fabric upholstery and an alarm system. The Hilux Dual Cab 2.4 (MT) is upgraded to a four-wheel drive but does not have powered door mirrors, alarm or power windows. The Double Cab 2.4 G (MT) adds on chrome grille, chrome door mirrors, fog lights, 17-inch wheels, multi-information display, keyless entry and start, leather steering wheel, six-way adjustable driver’s seat and a 6.1-inch infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity. The Double Cab 2.4 G (AT) adds on window tint, eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat and leather upholstery. The Toyota Hilux received a facelift in 2021 and was launched in five variants - Single Cab 2.4 (MT), Double Cab 2.4 G (MT), Double Cab 2.4 E (AT), Double Cab 2.4 V (AT) and Double Cab 2.8 Rogue (AT). The facelifted Toyota Hilux features a larger grille, sharper headlamps and a re-shaped bumper. The Toyota Hilux Single Cab is equipped with 17-inch wheels, automatic halogen headlamps, black grille, front back and rear grey bumper, black wing mirrors and manual air-conditioning. The Hilux 2.4 E adds on a dark grey grille, front body colour and rear grey bumper, USB charging and 4-way adjustable passenger seats. The Hilux 2.4 G adds on chrome grille, front body colour and rear chrome bumper, chrome wing mirrors, Optitron meter panel, a 4.2-inch multi-information display and leather steering wheel. The Hilux 2.4 V adds on 18-inch wheels, bi-LED headlamps with daytime running lights, automatic air-conditioning, a digital voice recorder, leather steering wheel and black leather upholstery. The Hilux Rogue adds on dark grey and black grille and bumper, over fenders, dark grey wing mirrors and perforated combination leather upholstery.

The Hilux GR Sport exterior features a sportier front grille, body colour overfenders, fog lamps, side mirrors and sports bar in black finishing and red-painted front brake calipers. The Toyota Hilux GR Sport interior is fitted with paddle shifters, leather and suede upholstery, red stitching interior, GR logos on the headrests, aluminium sports pedals and Optitron metres with red accents.
