The BMW M340i was launched in Malaysia in 2020 as a single variant - the M340i xDrive. The BMW M340i xDrive exterior features 19-inch M light double spoke alloy wheels, BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line, two-sided exhaust tailpipe, M aerodynamics package, exterior mirror, front ornamental grille and air inlets in Cerium Grey, M rear spoiler and electric glass roof. The BMW M340i interior features BMW Individual Anthracite headliner, illuminated front door sill, Aluminium Tetragon interior trim with Pearl Chrome highlights, Vernasca leather upholstery, M leather steering wheel, M-specific pedals, sports seats for driver and front passenger, ambient lighting, automatic triple-zone air-conditioning, contactless tailgate, electric seat adjustment with memory function for driver, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and a 10.25-inch infotainment system.

2023 BMW M340i G20

The facelifted BMW M340i was launched in Malaysia in 2023 this time in two variants - the M340i xDrive and M340i xDrive M Sport Pro. The BMW M340i xDrive M Sport Pro, however, can only be ordered online exclusively. The M340i xDrive M Sport Pro adds on 19-inch M double-spoke wheels in Bicolour Jet Black, M lights Shadowline, M Sport brake calipers in high-gloss red, M high-gloss Shadow Line and the M spoiler in sapphire black. The M340i xDrive M Sport Pro interior features a 14.9-inch infotainment touchscreen, leather upholstery in black or Tacora Red and M colourway seat belts.
