The BMW Z4 is a series of roadsters which has been manufactured since 2003 over three generations. The first generation BMW Z4, the BMW Z4 E85, was first introduced in 2003 as the successor to the BMW Z8. The second generation Z4, the BMW Z4 E89 was introduced in 2009 and ended production in 2016 as it was succeeded by the third and latest generation Z4. BMW Z4 G29

The third generation BMW Z4 G29 was launched in Malaysia in 2019 in a sole variant, the BMW Z4 sDrive30i M Sport. The range topping variant, the BMW Z4 M40i was not launched in Malaysia. The BMW Z4 exterior features 18-inch wheels, adaptive LED headlamps and M Sport suspension. The BMW Z4 interior features Aluminium Tetragon interior trim, leather ‘Vernasca’ upholstery, M leather steering wheel, M Sport seats, dual-zone automatic air-conditioning, ambient lighting, a 10.25-inch instrument display, a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen and wireless charging. 

Engine: 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine
Maximum Output: 258 PS
Maximum Torque: 400 Nm from 1,550 to 4,400 rpm
0-100 km/h Sprint Time: 5.4 seconds
Top Speed: 250 km/h

The BMW Z4 roadster received an update which was launched in Malaysia in 2022. The updated BMW Z4 featured re-designed kidney grille, re-designed air intakes, M high-gloss Shadowline trim, 19-inch double-spoke bicolour alloy wheels, Adaptive M suspension and Aluminium Mesh Effect interior trim.
