Engine

1.3L engine:-

Both engines can run on RON 95 petrol fuel and are compliant with Euro 4 emissions standards. The Myvi also has an Eco Idle system that automatically shuts off the engine when the car is idle, thus saving fuel and reducing emissions.
 

Safety Features

The 2022 Myvi facelift has made significant advancements in its safety features, particularly with the incorporation of Perodua's ASA 3.0, which has now rebranded it as Perodua Smart Drive Assist (PSDA), similar to the Ativa model. Among these safety features, the complete range of Advanced Driving Assist System (ADAS) functionalities will only be available in the AV variant. These ADAS features encompass Pre-Collision Warning, Pre-Collision Braking, Pedal Mis-Operation Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Departure Prevention, Lane Keep Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, Adapative Cruise Control, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

Interior

For the top-spec 2022 Myvi facelift, the AV gets a host of new interior and exterior upgrades, making it the most comprehensive Myvi ever built. The AV variant also gets a two-tone black and red leather interior, glossy red a/c vent trims, and a centre cluster with a red finish. The center screen at the meter cluster has also been upgraded from LCD to TFT, giving drivers a sharper and more vibrant experience. The infotainment system is also now bigger than before, growing from 6.2-inch to 6.9-inch. The system's interface has also been updated and now features the same interface as the Ativa.

Exterior

Both the G variants and the rest of the Myvi line-up will receive a fresh exterior makeover, including a new front bumper, grille, front skirt with a silver finish, headlights, and rear bumper with garnish. Additionally, all X variants and higher will be equipped with a new steering wheel featuring a Power Mode Switch button. The Power Mode enhances the driving experience by delivering a more responsive throttle response, providing the driver with an elevated level of performance.

It also features a sporty and modern exterior design with sleek lines and a bold front grille. The headlights are designed with LED daytime running lights, and there are fog lights at the lower front bumper.

Fuel Efficiency

The other big update for the 2022 Myvi facelift is in the mechanical department, where the 4-speed automatic transmission has been replaced with a Dual Mode CVT transmission (D-CVT). 

According to Perodua, the D-CVT has given the Myvi a 5% increase in fuel efficiency (+1km/l) and a 20% increase in performance. The 1.3-litre Myvis can now do 0-100km/h in 11.5 seconds, while the 1.5-litre Myvi can now make the sprint in 10.2 seconds.
