Lexus IS 200t Unveiled: Coming To Malaysia End 2015

Lexus has introduced the new IS 200t which will go on sale in Europe from September 2015 and will make its way to Malaysia by the end of this year.

The main highlight of the Lexus IS 200t is the new 2.0-liltre turbocharged in-line four-cylinder petrol engine which can also be found in the NX 200t crossover SUV. It produces 241hp and 350Nm of torque and is paired to an eight-speed Sport Direct Shift transmission that is also part of the high-performance RC F model.

 0-100 km/h is accomplished in just seven seconds with a top speed of 230 km/h. Lexus’ claimed average fuel consumption figure for the IS 200t is 7l/100km.

Visually, the car does not differ much in the way from the standard Lexus IS where the front fascia features the brand’s prominent spindle grille design and L-shaped LED daytime lights. However, the IS 200t gains newly designed 17-inch wheels.
