We’re happy to report that Mazda Motor Corporation has started production of the all-new Mazda MX-5 at its Ujina Plant No.1 in Hiroshima with the first few models produced being destined for the Japanese market.Sales of the two-seater sports car will begin in Japan around June 2015 through a dedicated website. Following sales start in Japan, the MX-5 will be progressively rolled out to overseas markets.The Mazda MX-5 features the SKYACTIV technologies that includes two direct-injection petrol engines in 1.5- and 2.0-litre capacities. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission.With a double wishbone suspension in the front and multi-link setup in the rear, the roadster aims to deliver the ultimate Jinba Ittai driving experience.
