At the upcoming 2019 Auto Shanghai, Mercedes-Benz will showcase the new Concept GLB, previewing a new SUV that will slot between the GLA and GLC.
Prior to the unveiling, Mercedes-Benz has dropped a single teaser photo of the concept’s interior.
The lone photo provided by Mercedes-Benz gives us a good look at the interior new MFA2-based crossover, which includes the signature dual 10.25-inch displays with Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX). The design of the steering wheel and air vents further cement the fact that the new GLB will share a lot of hardware with other MFA2-based models, such as the new A-Class and CLA-Class.
In addition to that, the interior of the Concept GLB appears to feature a generous dose of wood trim, though it remains to be seen if this feature is carried over to the production model.
Considering that a lot of the interior bits are carried over from other MFA2-based models, it would be safe to assume that mechanical bits of the new GLB will be shared with its stablemates.
The 2019 edition of the Auto Shanghai will start from 16th April.
