Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 GT

The ninth generation Mitsubishi Lancer was launched in Malaysia in 2007 in a single variant - the Lancer GT 2.0. The Mitsubishi Lancer exterior features full bodykit, rear wing and 18-inch alloy wheels while the Mitsubishi Lancer interior features a 6-disc CD changer, steering wheel with audio controls, single-zone automatic air-conditioning, dark grey interior, meter panel with a small multi-information LCD display, Nappa leather upholstery, rear armrest with cupholders and 60:40 split folding. The Mitsubishi Lancer was launched in four colours - Cool Silver Metallic, Medium Purplish Gray Mica, Red Metallic and Black Mira.

Maximum Output: 155 PS at 6,000 rpm
Maximum Torque: 199 Nm at 4,250 rpm 

 

The Mitsubishi Lancer GT 2.0 received an update in 2009 with no changes made to the engine specifications. Some upgrades include a redesigned front grille, ABS, EBD, an MP3 sound system and steering wheel controls. The updated Lancer GT 2.0 was offered in only three colours - White Solid, Black Mica and Red Metallic. 

 

The Mitsubishi Lancer GT 2.0 received a second update in 2012. The update featured LED daytime running lights and position lights, front and rear body kit, Nappa leather seats, reverse camera and premium carpet mats. 


 

Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 GTE

The Mitsubishi Lancer GTE 2.0 was launched in 2014 as the replacement of the Lancer 2.0 GT, but is relatively similar to the GT variant. The Lancer 2.0 GTE adds on a powered tilt/slide sunroof, different key fob and ‘GTE’ emblem. No changes have been made to the engine specification and the colour options offered. 


 

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo for short) was launched in Malaysia in 2008. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X engine is mated to 6-speed Twin Clutch SST gearbox and has three driving modes - Normal, Sport and Super Sport with paddle shifters. The Lancer Evo 10 features 18-inch lightweight aluminium wheels, Brembo disc brakes with 4 pot calipers at the front and 2 pot calipers at the rear, ELR seatbelts with pre-tension, adaptive front lighting, HID headlamps, Recaro bucket front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control and a sunroof. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution was offered in three colours - Red Metallic, Phantom Black Pearl and Solid White.

Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback

The Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback, otherwise known as the Mitsubishi Lancer Hatchback, was launched in Malaysia in 2010. The Lancer Sportback features automatic headlamps, sporty aluminium pedals, front sport seats, automatic air-conditioning, two-DIN LCD touchscreen infotainment syste, front fog lamps, a rear spoiler, paddle shifters, Nappa leather upholstery and 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels. The Lancer Hatchback was offered in three colours - Lightning Blue, White Solid and Black Mica.
