The Proton S70 uses a 1.5 litre turbocharged engine with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which Proton claims can bring the S70 from 0-100 km/h in approximately nine seconds. The Proton S70 is fitted with the same engine as the Proton X50 Standard to Premium variant.
