BMW Individual brings out THE NEXT 100 YEARS variants of the 7 Series

The BMW 7 Series represents the pinnacle of luxury for the BMW model range. It’s the perfect vehicle for a commemorative effort on the part of BMW’s Individual division, and they have released a limited-run production across three drive variants. Labelled THE NEXT 100 YEARS, there are a number of elements that set these particular models apart from the run-of-the-mill 7 Series variants.

The 100 commissioned units will be distributed across the 740Le iPerformance, 740Le xDrive iPerformance, 750Li, 750Li xDrive, and the range-topping M760Li xDrive models. Regardless of which drivetrain you choose, the custom kit is commonly applied.

On the outside, a Centennial Blue Metallic paint finish and 20-inch lightweight alloy rims help to set these cars apart. A number of “THE NEXT 100 YEARS” badges adorn the B pillars and various pieces of interior trim.

Other than this, the interior is finished in a nice BMW Individual fine-grain Merino full-leather trim, in smoke white tones with contrasting black accents. Seat surfaces are quilted s well- a testament to the prowess and attention to detail by the folks in BMW Individual.

Equipment wise, there isn’t a huge amount of difference between these models and the regular 7 Series; a large number of options are still available for owners to tick, but the exercises revolves largely around higher quality materials and finishes. The steering wheel is finished with fine-wood and BMW Individual leather.

You also happen to get a nice MontBlanc pen with your car.

Places more value in how fun a car is to drive than outright performance or luxury. He laments the direction that automotive development is headed in, but grudgingly accepts the logic behind it. Can be commonly found trying to fix yet another problem on his rusty project car.
