As part of their display for the 2017 Detroit Motor Show, BMW will also be unveiling updated options for their BMW 6 Series. Most notable of these changes is the addition of the striking Sonic Speed Blue Metallic colour, available for the first time ever.
The M-Sport packages for all three variants (Coupe, Convertible, and Gran Coupe) now include 20-inch M light alloy wheels in the M-specific double-spoke design, with a bicolor finish. These, along with some carbon fibre interior trim pieces, were previously reserved only for the M6 in its three variants.
As for the rest of the 6 Series, there are hardly any changes besides the odd rearranging of product trim lines (Design Pure Excellence and Design Pure Experience). There is still the option of good-old rear wheel drive or the more practical xDrive all-wheel drive system, as well as updated bits and bobs for the ConnectedDrive system as you would expect.
Our market isn't a very options heavy market given our low volume and local production, but hopefully this revision to the M-Sport packages will make it here.
