Jetour Dashing goes stealth mode with Dark Warrior Limited Edition - RM117,200

Jetour Malaysia has launched the new Dashing Dark Warrior Limited Edition, priced at RM117,200, the same as the range-topping Prime variant currently on sale.

The company calls this a “new variant,” but despite the “Limited Edition” badge, it has not disclosed how many units of the Dark Warrior will be offered.

At no extra cost compared to the Prime, buyers get an SUV with a darker, more distinctive appearance. The matte black exterior is complemented by blacked-out Jetour branding at the front and rear, as well as a blacked-out Dashing emblem.

19-inch ‘Phantom Spec’ alloy wheels, finished in black, complete the look, while red brake calipers behind the wheels provide a subtle contrasting element.

Mechanically, the Dark Warrior is identical to the standard model. It is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 156 PS and 230 Nm of torque, with power sent to the front wheels through a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Inside, the equipment mirrors the Prime variant. Highlights include LED Matrix headlights with daytime running lights, dual 10.25-inch displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 50W wireless charging pad, and a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat.

On the safety front, the SUV comes with cruise control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a rear-view camera with parking guidelines. A suite of driver assistance technologies is also included, featuring blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert, lane change warning, and a 360-degree surround-view monitor.

The SUV comes with a five-times free service package, a seven-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty, and a 10-year/1,000,000 km engine warranty.
