Mercedes-Benz Malaysia opens largest East Coast Autohaus in Kuantan with integrated body & paint centre, EV fast chargers

Two years after first planting its flag in the East Coast region, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and dealer partner Asbenz Stern have officially opened a brand-new Autohaus in Kuantan, further strengthening the German marque’s presence in the region. 

Located in Indera Mahkota, the new facility now stands as the largest Mercedes-Benz Autohaus on the East Coast, underscoring the brand’s continued push to elevate both sales and aftersales experiences beyond the Klang Valley.

The new Autohaus reflects Mercedes-Benz’s latest retail direction, combining premium showroom spaces with integrated aftersales and customer-focused amenities under one roof. Spanning 26,565 sq ft of showroom and customer areas within a total built-up space of 65,340 sq ft, the facility is designed to offer a seamless end-to-end ownership experience for customers in Pahang and neighbouring states.

Inside, the showroom is capable of displaying up to six vehicles at any one time, while customers can also relax at the Star Lounge or browse through the Mercedes-Benz Lifestyle Collection corner. The emphasis here is clearly on creating a more premium hospitality-driven environment rather than merely a transactional showroom space.

More significantly, this marks the first Asbenz Stern facility to incorporate integrated body and paint services, a move that substantially expands the dealer group’s aftersales capabilities on the East Coast. The service centre houses up to 16 fully equipped work bays, handling everything from routine maintenance to major repair work, all performed by Mercedes-Benz-trained and certified technicians.

The facility is also future-ready for the brand’s growing electrified lineup, featuring on-site DC fast chargers rated at up to 120 kW and capable of charging two vehicles simultaneously. To date, Asbenz Stern has invested RM35 million across its network, including RM23 million dedicated to the new Kuantan Autohaus, with the group now operating three Autohauses across Kedah, Pahang, and Terengganu.
