Mine is the 2.0GLS hence the 3 stars for the performance. It will be a 4 star for the 2.2D and a 5 star for the 2.5T. Overall my 2.0 GLS that comes with GVC Plus ( G - Vectoring Control Plus )

Mine is the 2.0GLS hence the 3 stars for the performance. It will be a 4 star for the 2.2D and a 5 star for the 2.5T. Overall my 2.0 GLS that comes with GVC Plus ( G - Vectoring Control Plus ) performed immaculately when cornering hard at about 60km/h while pressing the accelerator. Can really feel the GVC Plus working to push my car into the corner. As for the interior, in my opinion it looks clean, neat and flawless compared to its rivals ( not going to say names ) . Safety wise it is not bad, only gave it 4 stars as the CX5 in Malaysia doesn't come with the Mazda Radar Cruise Control ( MRCC ) otherwise its all good. If you choose the diesel version you may regret later. The reason because all mazda diesel engine must run on EURO 5 diesel with max 5% of biodiesel. You can google it. Our Euro 5 diesel content 7% of biodiesel (B7). Basiscally in Malaysia the euro 5 diesel may damage the engine in long term... If you considering a skyactiv D mazda car think carefully.. Kurang

The infotainment can be better with sync to Apple or Android. Apps like waze is very important nowadays. Although the latest Mazda CX-5 comes with the features, should be release in earlier version.

Being a diesel, the diesel burns better, and therefore delivers higher torque (measured by Nm-1). At 2 years old now, this car has mostly been wonderful to drive. The built quality of the interior is simply comfortable - and makes it such an easy car to drive. My only qualm? SUVs ROLL! For those who don't understand roll in car, it simply means that when cornering, your car doesnt maintain it's level, and therefore, you find your whole body slowly being pulled away to either side of where the car turns from (turn left, you'll be thrown rightwards). Acceleration and overtaking is great. NVH is great. Cruising at 120km/h is a breeze in this car. Want to cruise a little faster? - No problem! This car makes for a great daily driver + highway cruiser. On top of that, just look at it from the outside - it's such a beauty to look at! Kurang
