2020 will see the launch of the new MINI John Cooper Works GP with the most powerful engine ever fitted to a series-produced MINI 3-door Hatch. Inspired by the brand’s legendary racing successes, the MINI John Cooper Works GP embodies MINI’s motorsport essence. Designers and engineers have spared no efforts in creating an uncompromisingly dynamic package. This is the most powerful MINI GP ever built as well as the fastest, with a top speed of 164 mph. Following in the footsteps of the 2006 and 2013 John Cooper Works GP models, this generation will push the boundaries of performance to the technical limit, in a strictly limited batch of 3,000 individually numbered vehicles worldwide, with 575 vehicles arriving in the UK. Two versions of the new MINI John Cooper Works GP are available: The base vehicle is weight-optimised, for a no compromise performance package and comes without optional extras. The vehicle is also available with the GP Touring Pack, which includes automatic air conditioning, seat heating and Navigation Plus Pack.
