The Hyundai Kona e-Plus electric was launched in 2021 and the mid-range variant of the model. The Kona e-Plus is equipped with a 39.2 kWh battery which is capable of producing a maximum output of 136 PS and 395 Nm of torque, which allows the e-Plus to launch from 0-100 km/h in 9.9 seconds and a top speed of 155 km/h. The Kona e-Plus has a WLTP-rated range of 305 km. The Kona e-Plus has a 11 kW onboard charger and regular AC charging takes up to 4.5 hours while DC fast charging takes up to an hour for a 50 kW charger and 47 minutes for a 100 kW charger. The Kona e-Plus exterior features 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, tail lights, daytime running lights, electric side mirrors and a roof rack. The Kona e-Plus interior features an 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, leather upholstery with 10-way electric adjustment for the driver and 8-way electric adjustment for the front passenger, grey roof lining, sunglasses holder, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, single-zone automatic air-conditioning and USB charging.
