McLaren Senna Exterior

The McLaren Senna is mainly designed as a lightweight with aerodynamic elements in order to achieve faster lap times. The McLaren Senna engine is a modified version of the McLaren 720S’ engine and uses a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with power to the rear wheels. The McLaren Senna is equipped with plenty of aerodynamic elements including a large adjustable electronically-operated double-element rear wing, double-element diffuser, a roof scoop, front and side air intakes, rear air louvres, large front fenders, high-performance radiators for improved engine cooling and dihedral doors (butterfly doors). The McLaren Senna is also fitted with Brembo’s carbon ceramic brakes, lightweight centre-lock alloy wheels and a top mounted inconel-titanium exhaust system with three pipes for a more aggressive sound.

McLaren Senna GTR

The McLaren Senna GTR was introduced in 2020 and is the track-only iteration of the McLaren Senna. However, the production version differed slightly from the concept version, with different wing setup, toned-down aerodynamics, dual-clutch race transmission, a revised suspension system and Pirelli racing slicks. The McLaren Senna GTR differs from the road-friendly Senna in terms of wider front and rear fenders, larger front splitter and a bigger rear diffuser. Although with the same engine, the McLaren Senna GTR is able to produce an output of 825 PS. The McLaren Senna GTR is limited to only 75 units.
