2018 Kia Grand Carnival

The Kia Grand Carnival exterior receives standard features such as halogen headlamps with LED daytime running lights, front and rear fog lamps, LED rear lamps and electronic-folding side mirrors. All the Kia Grand Carnival variants receive 18-inch alloy wheels as a standard. The Kia Carnival 2.2 CRDi receives a plain black radiator grille and is equipped with manually-operated sliding doors. The 2.2 CRDi KX exterior is similar to the 2.2 CRDi variant but receives power sliding doors and keyless entry with push start. The Grand Carnival 2.2 CRDi EX is similar to the 2.2 CRDi KX variant but receives a black radiator grille with chrome accents and is equipped with a smart power tailgate. 

The Kia Grand Carnival interior receives a standard 3.5-inch TFT-mono OLED instrument cluster and 4.3-inch TFT touchscreen infotainment system with USB and AUX connectivity but without Bluetooth. The Kia Grand Carnival interior also includes tilt/telescopic steering wheel, auto cruise control, manual sunshade blinds, manual air-conditioning and manual seat adjustments. The second row seats are foldable in a 40:20:40 split while the third row has a 50:50 split. The Grand Carnival 2.2 CRDi KX interior receives an upgrade of a rear-view camera and two-tone fabric seats. The Grand Carnival 2.2 CRDi EX interior has additional features of beige two-tone leather seats, triple-zone automatic climate control with cluster ioniser and powered 12-way driver’s seat.

Kia Grand Carnival Facelift

The Kia Grand Carnival facelift version was launched in Malaysia in two variants - KX and SX. The transmission has been upgraded to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Grand Carnival facelift version has a redesigned front and rear end and it now uses an electronic parking brake. The Grand Carnival KX maintains the previous Grand Carnival grille, but the SX receives a mesh grille insert. The Grand Carnival SX is also upgraded to auto-levelling LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights and fog lamps.

The Kia Grand Carnival KX interior receives standard features such as fabric seats with two-way powered lumbar adjustment, electrochromic rear-view mirror, sunshade blinds, a 3.5-inch multi-info display, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, triple-zone automatic climate control and powered sliding doors. The Grand Carnival SX variant receives an addition of woodgrain trim. The Grand Carnival SX interior is upgraded to a 7-inch multi-information display, eight-way power front seats, wireless charging tray and leather upholstery.

The Kia Grand Carnival facelift version is available in four colours - White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Silky Silver and Panthera Metal.
