The fourth generation Mercedes-Benz A250 was initially launched in Malaysia in the hatchback bodystyle. The A250 hatchback was launched in a single variant - the A250 AMG Line. The A250 exterior features trapezoidal grille, LED headlights, twin exhaust pipes, 18-inch alloy wheels, AMG bumpers, side skirts and AMG-badged alloys. The A250 interior features round turbine-like air vents, twin 10.25-inch screens, Mercedes-Benz User Experience infotainment system, sports seats with integrated headrests, Nappa leather steering wheel, brushed aluminium decor, Artico and Dinamica microfibre seat trim, single-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats with memory function, ambient lighting and illuminated door sills. The A250 sedan was launched in Malaysia in 2019 as also a single variant - the A250 AMG Line. The A250 sedan measures 130 mm longer at the rear and 6 mm taller. The engine, exterior and interior remain the same as the A250 hatchback version.

The locally-assembled CKD Mercedes-Benz A250 was launched in 2021 in the A250 AMG Line sedan form. No changes were made to the engine specifications. The CKD A250 receives an update of dual-zone automatic climate control. The A250 hatchback was discontinued and could only be ordered on an indent basis. 

The Mercedes A250 received a facelift in 2023 in the A250 4Matic AMG Line form. The A250 4Matic AMG Line exterior changes include reshaped headlights, new LED daytime running light, chrome star pins on the front grille, lower intake opening on the front bumper, new rear diffuser, new tail light lightning signature and 18-inch Tremolite Grey AMG five twin-spoke light-alloy wheels. The A250 interior revisions include the removal of the touchpad, newly updated Mercedes-Benz User Experience, light longitudinal-grain aluminium trim and Artico leather or Mircocut microfiber upholstery with red stitching.
