Proton Exora 2023

Proton has officially launched the 2023 Exora in 2022, marking the sixth update for the popular seven-seat MPV that has been in existence since 2009. Proton Exora is priced at RM62,800 for the Executive variant and RM69,800 for the price of Premium variant, both models are powered by the familiar 1.6-liter Campro turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine. Despite speculation about a switch to the X70's or X50's mill, the Campro CFE unit remains, producing 140 PS at 5,000 rpm and 205 Nm of torque, mated to a CVT.

Exterior updates include the latest Proton logo on the front grille and tailgate, with the rear fog lamp removed. LED daytime running lights are exclusive to the Premium, which also features 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels, side skirts, a rear spoiler, a black roof, and black tailgate garnish.

The Premium's interior boasts full leatherette seats, and the steering wheel now features the current Proton logo. The cabin layout remains unchanged, maintaining the 2-3-2 Exora seater configuration with split-folding second and third rows.

The Executive variant includes halogen headlamps, 16-inch single-tone alloys, manual-folding side mirrors, a urethane steering wheel, fabric upholstery, manual air-conditioning with rear vents and N95 cabin filter, and a standard head unit with Bluetooth and four speakers.

The Premium variant adds LED DRLs, two-tone alloys, exterior accessories, leather multi-function steering wheel, front and second-row seat armrests, and a seven-inch touchscreen head unit with "Hi Proton" voice commands, 4G internet connection, online music streaming, live navigation, smartphone connectivity, mirroring for Android, and Wi-Fi hotspot.

Safety features now include ESC as standard on both variants, with only the Premium receiving a reverse camera. Other safety features include two airbags, ABS, EBD, two rear parking sensors, and an emergency stop signal. The Proton Exora 2023 is available in five colours, which are the Snow White, Indiana Grey, Rosewood Maroon, Ruby Red and Cocoa Grey colour.
