Minyak tak cun especially bila speeding Walau bagaimanapun selepas 6 tahun dan hampir 120k kereta ni tk banyak meragam, cuma perlu servis on time dan tukar parts apa yang patut. 收起

Bought 1.3 Exec in June 2019, felt a good purchase then & now. 1 year later, still felt the car was a great purchase. Driving it feels solid, but at much lower cost. Comfort felt the same as my dad's new A45. Seating height is bit high, but it allows me to have better view on the road. Soundproofing also have so much improvement over previous iteration. Again, i can compare it to the A45. Iriz engineers also paid attention to detail, rear wiper automatically turns on when I put it in reverse mode during rain. Wiper also slows down when the vehicle stops. Really focused at attention to details. Vehicle excel at corners as the chassis felt stiff & solid. The only issue I faced so far is finding the correct window wind deflector. Buyers needs to aware that window deflector of 2012-2018 model cannot be fitted correctly on 2019 facelift version. CVT felt similar to Honda City CVT, which was bit lagged (about half a second) when we need to change gear. Driving Iriz with Punch CVT also needs time to adjust as I was used to drive Prius 2012. Hybrid cars have immediate high torque to move it from standstill. Hopefully Proton can adapt this technology in soon. 收起

Have been using the 1.3 manual exec model since Feb 2016. It is my fourth proton. Great handling, cheap and cheerful budget car. Done 120k on the odo. Steering rack need a replacement once and it was done under warranty claim. Confidently cruising at 160km/h and always put a smile everytime the tyre make the squeaky sound during cornering. 收起

Proton Iriz is very suitable as a best city & daily car, even better for use at highway. It is comfort & provides sense of high safety. The only minor point is coming from the fuel consumption part.

Love it or hate it, it is still rated as one of the best chassis that ever come out from our national carmaker. Now, with more features with reduce price compared to pre-facelift Iriz makes me triggered to own one after admiring it for years since its debut in 2014. Being one of the early bird to receive the facelifted Iriz makes people turns their heads whenever I drove by. It attracts some attention from the Malaysian as they wanted to know what are the contribution that Geely makes to our B-segment hatchback. Exterior wise, some people may say that it looks odd especially with the ethereal bow or the connected "eye brows". The concept to makes it looks bigger and wider works with a new improved bumper design. Interior wise, there's not much to complaint as the design already starting to looks a bit tired in certain area. The knob and switches feels a little bit well put together than before. The new meter cluster with white illuminating background does looks cool and premium but it seems to confuse me when it hits a direct sunlight, especially the temperature and fuel gauge, a tiny problem that need to be emphasize by Proton. The drivetrain much more improved than before. The lagging and slow reaction of the Punch CVT gearbox has been reduced tremendously by Proton. On highway it feels more refined and a lot more responsive, kudos to the engineering team. The ride and handling no need to be said, its always exhilarating for those who enjoys twist and turns like me, a fact well known by many Protonians. Should I recommended you to buy one? Yes.
