Specifically, starting Wednesday, according to Bernama, Kajang will see additional road blocks and 8 road closures to further limit movement and funnel remaining traffic through police checkpoints. Reportedly, the roads set to be affected include Jalan Reko to the MRT station, Jalan Cheras towards Jalan Timur, Jalan Sungai Chua to the KTM Tunnel Slip Road, Jalan Semenyih to Jalan Low Ti Kok, as well as the slip roads from Persiaran Saujana Impian to Jalan TTDI Grove 1/1 and Jalan TTDI Grove 2/1. In a statement on Monday, district police chief ACP Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussoff said: "Persiaran Saujana Impian-Jalan Melor 1; Jalan Sungai Kantan from Desa Jenaris and Persiaran Saujana Impian; and the road bordering Bandar Seri Putra- Nilai 3, will also be closed.” Alternative routes will be set up through Jalan Cheras towards Kajang and the SILK Expressway to the Grand Saga Highway, among other diversions. Ahmad Dzaffir also adds that, currently, the district has seen 7 roadblocks mounted and soon to be joined by the aforementioned additional 8, this includes: the Grand Saga Highway (KL-bound), the Kajang Toll Plaza, Bangi Toll Plaza, Bandar Sri Putra Toll Plaza, Kajang Selatan Toll Plaza (LEKAS), Batu 21 Sungai Lui (Hulu Langat), and SJR Batu 24 Sungai Lui (Hulu Langat).
