After Singapore & Japan, Honda Super-One BEV heads to Indonesia - to debut on 29 July 2026 at GIIAS

After making its global debut in Singapore earlier this year, followed by its home market launch in Japan, the Honda Super-One BEV is now set to enter Indonesia.

Several Indonesian automotive media outlets reported that the compact pure-electric 4-seater hatchback will make its official Indonesian public debut on 29 July 2026 at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026.

This means that Indonesia will become the second Southeast Asian market to receive the Honda Super-One after Singapore, which became the first market in the world to launch the model in January 2026.

To recap, Honda chose to introduce the production car in Singapore before rolling it out in its home market of Japan, where the Super-One officially went on sale in May 2026.

According to local reports, the Honda Super-One is expected to be priced between Rp 300 million and Rp 350 million (around RM 77k to RM 90k) in Indonesia.

Some local Honda dealers have also reportedly begun accepting pre-bookings with a Rp 10 million (around RM 2,250) reservation fee ahead of its official debut at GIIAS 2026.

For comparison, the model is currently sold in Singapore for SGD 178,999 (around RM 564,600), while buyers in Japan pay 3,390,200 yen (approximately RM 85,200).

These figures are based on current exchange rates and exclude differences in local taxes and incentives, so don't freak out too much about the price in Singapore (we feel you, neighbour).

Developed under Honda's "e: Dash Booster" concept, the Super-One is a compact A-segment BEV that blends retro-inspired styling with modern electric mobility.

Power comes from a front-mounted electric motor producing 95 PS and 162 Nm of torque, paired with a 29.6 kWh lithium-ion battery. Honda claims a 274 km (WLTC) driving range.

A full charge with a 6 kW AC charger takes around 4.5 hours, and it also supports up to 50 kW DC fast charging. If it's connected to one, charging it from 20% to 80% will take only 30 minutes.

Dimensionally, the Super-One measures 3,589 mm long, 1,573 mm wide and 1,616 mm tall, with a 2,520 mm wheelbase. To put things into perspective, the Honda Super-One is shorter, narrower, and taller than a Perodua Axia, but with roughly the same wheelbase.

It also tips the scales at just 1,092 kg, making it one of the lightest BEVs in its class. Other highlights include Honda Sensing, Honda Connect, multiple drive modes and a retro-inspired cabin designed with urban mobility in mind.
