Anya Hindmarch Autumn Winter 2015

No one can take road works and fashion as serious as Any Hindmarch. Dazzled by the quirky charms of daily conventional elements, the UK-based designer took the idea of road signs, traffic signals and safety alerts and transformed the dreary aesthetics into her latest wearable Autumn Winter 2015 series. 
“There is something about being on the M25 with a clear road and the combination of lights, reflective surfaces and your favourite piece of music that can put you into a wonderful (safe!) driving trance. I also love the iconic graphics signage with its purity and efficiency of message and the subtle humour that’s created when it’s used in an unexpected way."

"These are the elements that I have explored creatively this season, through quite complicated techniques, such as leather marquetry, and thermal bonding. It also felt like the right moment to add other product categories, playing with the placement of graphics across coats, fur and pieces of
knitwear. A beautiful coat or powerful scarf can be as mood altering as a great handbag. I see these more as an extension of our accessories, rather than the launch of ready to wear. They are the pieces I want to wear now," Hindmarch noted.
