A total of 9 aspiring automotive technicians from Despark International College (DSIC) and Esnet Academy have been selected this year, making it the biggest intake since the programme was first introduced. The initiative forms part of Cycle & Carriage's broader Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) efforts, aimed at helping underprivileged students pursue careers in the automotive industry while addressing the sector's increasing demand for qualified talent. Rather than simply providing financial aid, the programme is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world workshop experience, giving students a clearer pathway into the industry. Cycle & Carriage Malaysia CEO Adrian Short said the company sees investing in people as one of its most important long-term commitments. According to Short: "At Cycle & Carriage Malaysia, we believe our greatest investment is in people. Through this programme, we are not only supporting students financially but also providing them with the confidence, opportunity, and career pathway to succeed in the automotive industry. We are proud to partner with educational institutions in developing the next generation of skilled professionals who will drive our industry forward.” The award presentation and signing ceremony took place at Cycle & Carriage Mutiara Damansara, with recipients joined by their families. The event was officiated by Short alongside Chief Financial Officer James Zhang and General Manager of After Sales Mark Ho. For 2026, six students received the Study Grant, while three were selected under the Sponsorship Programme. Study Grant recipients each receive RM10,000 in financial assistance, while Sponsorship Programme recipients are awarded RM8,000. Upon completing their studies, all successful candidates will be offered employment with Cycle & Carriage for their first two years after graduation, gaining practical experience working alongside experienced technicians while servicing vehicles across the company's diverse portfolio of automotive brands. The Cycle & Carriage Study Grant and Sponsorship Programme is open to Malaysians aged 16 and above who are enrolled in automotive training programmes accredited by the Department of Skills Development (DSD) under the Ministry of Human Resources or the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). ✕ 使用 WhatsApp 联系 我们依据 PDPA 保护您的个人信息。 我同意 Carlist.my 的使用条款和隐私政策 我同意接收来自 Carlist.my 及其汽车销售商、业务附属机构和合作伙伴的个性化通信。 查看最佳汽车优惠!
