Geely Drops New Boyue Pro Teasers – Updated Interior And Exterior

Geely has just dropped several teaser photos of its upcoming Boyue Pro, a souped-up variant of the regular Boyue, limited only to the China market.

Under the hood of the new Boyue Pro are a choice of two turbocharged engines. The first is a revised 1.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that does 181 hp and 300 Nm, 15 Nm more than the regular Boyue. The second engine is a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine that does 174 hp and 255 Nm.

As for transmission choices, the 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine is paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, while the smaller 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine is paired to a six-speed torque converter automatic.

Visually, the new Boyue Pro gets a mildly redesigned exterior, with a more prominent front grille flanked by a pair of LED headlights. Right smack in the centre of the grille is Geely’s black emblem, reserved specially for their range of sportier models. The front bumper is also new, now more angular than before.

Moving towards the rear end, the Boyue Pro gets new LED tail lights and an updated rear bumper. The spoiler and 19-inch wheels have also been updated, giving the Boyue Pro a fresh new look.

Geely has also improved the interior of the Boyue Pro. As shown from these photos, the Boyue Pro gets a completely redesigned dashboard with a larger touchscreen head unit with a new rotary dial controller, new air-conditioning controls, revised steering wheel, and a new gear shifter. The design of the front air vents are also new. In addition to all of those, the new Boyue Pro also appears to get ambient lighting.

According to Chinese media outlets, Geely is expected to introduce the new Boyue Pro soon, with sales expected to start later this year.
