Have Yourself a (Virtual) Race Weekend at Paradigm Mall with RACEXP

If you fancy a challenge this weekend, head down to Paradigm Mall as Grass Racing Autosports, in collaboration with Motor Bahn, are organising Malaysia’s first wheel-to-wheel licensed simulator racing competition called RACEXP. 

Held at the Upper Atrium, Level UG of Paradigm Mall, RACEXP adopts the RaceRoom racing simulator which features licensed representations of famous circuits, cars, and races from the WTCC, DTM, and ADAC GT Masters Series. The game itself is currently available for download for free on Steam.

RACEXP is open to the public and to participate, visitors would have to pay a participation fee of RM30 and take part in a 10 minute qualifying session. The qualifying session is ongoing till 10pm today (6^th November 2015) and will resume from 10am – 3pm tomorrow (7^th November 2015).

Each participant will have their quickest lap time recorded, and from there the top 100 drivers would go on to the Quarterfinals where they will compete in wheel-to-wheel racing against one another in designated races. The Quarterfinals is scheduled to start shortly after the last qualifying session from 5 – 9pm tomorrow, and will continue on Sunday (8^th November 2015) 11am – 3pm.  From there the top ten will be chosen to race together in the Finals, which will take place on 7pm, Sunday 8^th November 2015.

Spectators are invited to watch the race for free as well as browse the event’s 10 Brand Partner’s Booth, with attractive offers on related products. As Mazda is supporting the event as the Official Car, Bermaz Motor has brought out their latest Mazda 2 Sport Hatch, which is on display at the Ground Floor at the G Entrance. The Mazda 2 Sport Hatch comes fitted with a new body kit and is only available for a limited time only.
