Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Teaches Its Owners About Their Cars

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia together with authorised dealer NZ Wheels have conducted its first Mercedes-Benz Discovery Learning Programme. A specialised program designed to enable their customers to better understand their Mercedes-Benz vehicles and all the functions, technologies, and safety features of their vehicle.

The program hopes to optimise the ownership experience of their customers through information sharing and discovery sessions conducted by the marque’s technical experts.

The program highlight featured a talk by Mr. Andreas Roehl, a Daimler AG Technical Expert who educated customers on the latest vehicle technologies, pre-safe and safety features of Mercedes-Benz cars. Mr. Roehl conducted an Information Sharing Session where customers were taken step-by-step through the Pre-Safe and safety features available within a Mercedes-Benz vehicle.

Customers also enjoyed a detailed demonstration of Mercedes-Benz assist systems such as Park Assist and Hill-Hold functions, facilitated by Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Technical Specialists. In addition, customers were also educated on servicing and car care tips in a Servicing & Car Care Tips Session.

In conjunction with the Discovery Learning Programme, NZ Wheels also unveiled their brand new Body & Paint facility has the capacity to service up to 70 cars per month, offering services such as spot welding and MIG/MAG welding, dry sanding facility, infra-red technology dryers, Glasurit water-based paints, and dedicated aluminium repair bay.

This new 8,330 sq.ft. body and paint facility was set up at an investment of RM2 million and is the dealer’s first certified Body & Paint Centre commisioned as per Mercedes-Benz global standards.

The NZ Wheels Klang Autohaus has a total built-up area of approximately 32,000 sq. ft. The facility has a total display capacity of 17 vehicles with three of them being the AMG cars at AMG Performance Centre, and is backed by a workforce of around 70 personnel across sales, technical services, and spare parts functions.
