Michelin LTX Force All-Terrain Tires Make Malaysian Debut

Michelin Malaysia today officially announced the introduction of the LTX Force SUV/4x4 all-terrain tires at the Sepang International Circuit.

The LTX Force tire was launched during Michelin’s inaugural Off-Road Days event held from 20 to 23 March in an effort to showcase the brand’s full range of off-road tires.

Available in sizes between 15 and 18-inches, the Michelin LTX Force tire was designed to suit both on-road and off-road usage.

Features on the LTX Force which enhance its on-road capabilities include the CompacTread technology which increases contact area with the ground, BevelTread Technology which reduces noise, and CushionGuard technology which adds comfort.

At the same time, making it ideal for off-roading are features like the extended sidewall biting edge which improves the sidewall’s cut-chip resistance, as well as the deep and open shoulder design which provides better traction.

“Off-road technologies behind the Michelin LTX Force were derived from the World Rally Championship (WRC), one of the world’s most demanding rallies – thus, providing another example of Michelin’s “From Track to Street” philosophy,” said Michelin Malaysia’s managing director Pascal Nouvellon.

Available at Tyreplus outlets, Michelin Expert Centres, and authorised dealers nationwide, the LTX Force tires, which are being made in Brazil, are priced from RM550 per piece.
