Citizens of the Klang Valley! Do take note that there will be a road closure of a section of the New Pantai Expressway (NPE) along KM2.7 on the 1st of February (this Sunday) between 12am (midnight) to 8am.
The road closures will affect both directions of the NPE highway near Sunway Pyramid, between that, and the Pantai Dalam toll plaza after the tunnel (if you were en route to Kuala Lumpur).
Prasarana Malaysia Berhad’s (Prasarana) latest news release states that the roadworks are due to the launching of the new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) – Sunway Line Project.
Prasarana has also provided several alternative routes for those with plans to travel in the wee hours of that Sunday morning, be it to and from Shah Alam/ Subang Jaya and Kuala Lumpur/ Petaling Jaya areas, and will be diverting traffic as such.
On top of the expected barriers to divert traffic, flagmen and early warning signs will be displayed for all to take note of.
So, do take note if you’re planning any travelling this weekend, early Sunday morning.
