Sime Beyond Auto expands BYD footprint with new Sri Petaling outlet, sports-themed showroom coming in August

Sime Beyond Auto, the retail arm of Sime Motors, has officially expanded its BYD network with the opening of its latest showroom in Sri Petaling, marking the company's sixth BYD outlet in Malaysia.

The new 1S (Sales) facility adds to an expanding nationwide presence that now includes outlets in Ara Damansara, Kuala Lumpur's TREC, Tebrau and Mid Valley Southkey in Johor, as well as the recently opened BYD Mansion Macalister in Penang.

While the Sri Petaling outlet is already open for business, Sime Beyond Auto has revealed that the showroom is set for a major transformation next month. Scheduled to begin in August, the renovation will introduce a sports-inspired retail concept, continuing the company's latest showroom design language that first debuted at its Penang flagship.

The refreshed concept takes inspiration from the outlet's location within the Bukit Jalil–Sri Petaling corridor, an area synonymous with Malaysian sports thanks to the nearby National Stadium Bukit Jalil and its surrounding sporting venues.

Once completed, the redesigned showroom will feature everal unique elements, including a dedicated vehicle handover area styled as a "centre field", for a more memorable delivery experience for new owners. The facility will also house a display area capable of showcasing up to five BYD models, alongside a customer lounge designed to provide a more welcoming environment for visitors.

According to Sime Beyond Auto, the new design philosophy aims to create a stronger connection between each showroom and the community surrounding it, giving every outlet its own distinctive identity rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach.
