Combining the stability of having two wheels side-by-side, and the lean cruising you would experience when riding a big motorcycle, the Honda Neowing Concept motorcycle is a hybrid in more ways than one.
Besides bringing an extra front wheel to the equation, the 3-wheeled Neowing’s flat-four petrol engine is coupled to an electric motor. The front wheels feature Honda’s original link structure integrated with new technology which uses an actuator to mitigate roll.
According to Honda, the Neowing Concept was conceived to ‘help more people enjoy the thrill of an open vehicle and active riding’, which we have to say, it is successfully tempting us to take up biking.
No further details were given on the power outputs of its powertrain or the possibilities that we would be able to see such a fascinating thing plying our roads any time soon.
