Proton e.MAS 7 

The Proton eMAS launch for Malaysia was in 2024 and is expected to begin deliveries in 2025. The Proton eMAS 2024 is the first Proton EV as well as Malaysia’s first national electric vehicle. The Proton e.MAS 7 is capable of charging from 30 to 80% in 20 mins with a DC charger while an 11 kW AC charger will take 4.9 hours for Prime and 6.1 hours for Premium to charge from 10 to 80%. The  EV Proton e.MAS 7 Prime exterior features 18-inch wheels, LED headlamps and full-length tail lights, rear fog lights, concealed door handles and roof rail. The Proton e.MAS 7 interior for the Prime variant features a 10.2-inch LCD instrument cluster, antibacterial steering wheel, leather seats, 6-way power driver’s seat, rear under seat storage box, wireless charging, automatic air-conditioning and a 15.4-inch infotainment touchscreen. The Proton e.MAS 7 Premium adds on 19-inch wheels, panoramic sunroof with sunshade, power tailgate, active grille shutter, 6-way power driver’s seat with memory function, 4-way power front passenger seat, ambient lighting, windshield heads-up display and headrest speakers.
