2023 Maserati Levante GT Hybrid arrives in Malaysia - RM738,000

Naza Italia has finally brought in the Maserati Levante GT Hybrid unit here in Malaysia for 2023.

For those who love the Maserati premium SUV look but want it in a more attainable and fuel-efficient package, the Levante GT Hybrid can be yours with a price tag that starts from RM738,000 (including duties, taxes but before options, and insurance. Price also includes three years Standard warranty with no mileage).

2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder + BSG & e-Booster

The 2023 Maserati Levante GT Hybrid comes with the pairing of a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder internal combustion engine and a 48-volt hybrid system that consists of a Belt Start Generator (BSG), battery, e-Booster, and a DC/DC converter. Maserati says that this combo offers a 20% improvement in fuel consumption compared to the 350hp V6 Levante despite being only 20hp down.

The e-Booster in particular works in conjunction with the conventional turbocharger to deliver power at lower revs and it is always readily available to give that extra push using the battery and BSG system. The result? A Levante that pushes out 330hp and 450Nm of torque from as low as 2,250rpm.

0-100km/h in 6 seconds, 245km/h top speed

Since it weighs 20kg less than the V6-powered Levante (115kg less than the diesel version), the 2023 Maserati Levante GT Hybrid still carries that 'fun to drive' factor paired with a more even 50:50 weight distribution. All-wheel-drive and the eight-speed automatic transmission are still available as well as its top speed of 245km/h. 0-100km/h is achieved in six seconds flat.
