Ford Malaysia Hits 872 Retail Sales In August: Three New Models Arriving Before End Of The Year

For the month of August, Ford Malaysia has managed a retail sales figure of 872 units, comprising its Ranger, Fiesta, and EcoSport nameplates.

From that figure, the Ford Ranger pickup truck contributed the most sales with 651 units shifted in August, continuing on as the Blue Oval’s best-selling model here in Malaysia, and increasing year-to-date sales by 17% to 6,171 units.

Next, the Ford EcoSport saw 75 units sold in August with year-to-date sales standing at 724 units. The Ford Fiesta meanwhile, which is available in 1.5-litre Ti-VCT and 1.0-litre EcoBoost variants, saw retail sales of 108 units, driving year-to-date sales to 943 units.

Scheduled to make its local debut before the end of the year will be the new Ford Ranger and all-new Ford Everest, along with the mighty Ford Mustang (now open for bookings).
