The new generation Daihatsu Terios, also known as the Toyota Rush has been spied for the first time ever in Indonesia.
Autonetmagz posted several spy photos of the new SUV doing its run around Jakarta wearing what appears to be a production-ready body and trim.
From the spy photos, it appears that the new Daihatsu Terios could be bigger in size than its predecessor, likely with a third row option. A couple of year back when the Toyota Rush was introduced here, the model was sold as a seven seater SUV and Perodua introduced the Nautica, which was essentially a five-seater version of the Rush.
The photos also showed us that the new Terios could feature two different design for its wheels.
Additionally, Autonetmagz also posted a leak of the Daihatsu Terios’ front and rear bumper design. From the photo posted, it is evident that the new Daihatsu Terios is inspired heavily by the DN Multisix Concept that made its debut at the 2017 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
Seeing that the upcoming Daihatsu Terios could be a six seater SUV, it is possible that Perodua could be looking to introduce its own version some time in 2018. The new model from Perodua is a likely candidate to replace the ageing Alza and discontinued Nautica.
