Priced from RM89,000 to RM145,000 depending on the variant it is expected to make its debut towards the end of April 2021, well in advance of its supposed introduction in 2022. This comes just 18 months after its global debut in Thailand.

“We are extremely thrilled that this impressive all-new Isuzu D-Max has been made available in Malaysia much earlier than expected. As the fifth country in the world to launch this model after its global introduction in Thailand, it stands as testament to the strong commitment from Isuzu Motors towards ensuring that the Malaysian market enjoys the latest selection of choice Isuzu vehicles,” he went on to add.

As we reported previously the 2021 Isuzu D-Max achieved the maximum 5-star EURO NCAP rating, a first for a pick-up truck. Future buyers will be glad to know that the 3rd-generation Isuzu D-Max has also scored 5-stars on the ASEAN NCAP. The new D-Max will come replete with a host of Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) features. We'll explore this more in-depth during the media drive and subsequent launch.

Mr. Suzuki wrapped up by saying "The all-new Isuzu D-Max has made scores of new fans in the markets it has been introduced in and I believe that the same will happen here in Malaysia. This new model evokes a new level of interest in owning and driving a pick-up truck hence we have initiated this pre-launch booking programme to ensure those who have eagerly awaited the arrival of the new model will be among the very first to take delivery once it has been officially launched."

With the recent preview of the 2021 Nissan Navara PRO-4X and the impending arrival of the 2021 Isuzu D-Max, Malaysian buyers are definitely about to be spoilt for choice in the pick-up market!
