The 2014 Perodua Myvi 1.3 EZ (officially badged as the EZi) belongs to the second generation of the Myvi (internally known as the "Lagi Best" generation, which ran from 2011 to 2014).
The "EZi" naming convention was Perodua’s classic way of labeling their trims: E stands for the entry/standard tier, Z means it includes the extra equipment package, and i indicates electronic fuel injection. In 2014, the 1.3 EZi sat right in the middle of the Myvi lineup—above the barebones 1.3 SR (Standard Manual) but below the sportier 1.3/1.5 SE (Special Edition) and Extreme variants.
The Cabin Layout: It features the iconic dashboard layout where the automatic gear shifter is mounted directly onto the center console dashboard rather than on the floor. This opened up legroom and created a walk-through space between the front seats.
Convenience Upgrades: Unlike the lowest trims, the EZi came with an integrated 2-DIN head unit (radio/CD player with MP3 and WMA support), a height-adjustable driver's seat, electrically folding side mirrors, and fabric seats with a specific pattern.
Exterior Accents: It included 14-inch alloy wheels (instead of steel wheels with hubcaps), a rear spoiler with an integrated third brake light, and body-colored door handles.
