Due to increased localisation efforts, the fully electric (BEV) QV-E can be had for RM93,999. Furthermore, the debut price of RM80,000 with a 9-year battery leasing plan has been lowered as well, now set at an upfront of RM69,999 attached to a monthly Battery As A Service (BAAS) fee of RM215 (with tax), down from RM275 previously. Launching alongside this announcement is a limited time offer, valid until 30th September 2026, that slashes RM6,500 off the outright ownership price of the QV-E to RM87,499 or RM6,500 off the BAAS price to RM63,499. Perodua positions the aforementioned BAAS programme as a complete EV battery solution, with the monthly fee naturally providing the actual energy storage hardware, but also covering battery protection, insurance, replacement, and end-of-life disposal throughout the duration of the agreement to ensure customers a hassle-free EV ownership experience. Speaking of which, even for buyers who opt to buy the QV-E outright, Perodua are also offering a buy-back program for the battery when the time does come to replace it. Behind the scenes, Perodua has been working hard to ensure the QV-E is offered to Malaysians as competitive a package as possible, and in conjunction with this revised pricing, production capacity from Rawang has been increased to above 500 units a month. As a little refresher, the QV-E is the result of Perodua’s years-long efforts to design and manufacture truly Malaysian BEV from the ground up. It sits on a bespoke vehicle platform co-engineered with Magna Steyr and uses a 52.5kWh LFP battery good for a quoted NEDC range of 445km, or around 380km WLTP. This feeds a front-mounted single electric motor rated at 204PS and 285Nm of torque, easily making this the most powerful Perodua ever, and with a rather quick 7.5 second sprint time from standstill to 100km/h. It’s sporty coupe-like roofline and crossover ride height gives it a sporty and purposeful stance while its cabin features a digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. On the safety front, the QV-E is fitted with a full suite of ADAS and active safety functionality as well as 6 airbags, yielding it a 5-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating. ✕ Let's Connect on Whatsapp We protect your personal information in compliance with the PDPA I agree with Carlist.my Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
