2021 Toyota Yaris Open For Booking - From RM 70,940.00

With all the news of the GR Yaris making its way to Malaysian shores, let us not forget our humble ASEAN model aimed squarely at the mass market.

UMW Toyota in a spree of launches and information yesterday also confirmed details of the new Yaris - the entry-level hatchback is now open for booking and details have been provided. You can get it in three colours: Red Mica Metallic, Silver Metallic, and Platinum White Pearl.

UMW Toyota revealed last night that the price for the Yaris 1.5J is RM 70,940 while the mid-range Yaris 1.5E will go for RM 80,380 and the top-spec Yaris 1.5G goes for RM 84,808.

Besides the refreshed look,  the new Yaris has all the features that we've come to expect from Toyota's products - at least on their top-spec 1.5G variants. Toyota Safety Sense with Pre-collision System (PCS) and Lane Departure Alert (LDA) are present, as well as other items like automatic air-conditioning, the Optitron Meter with Multi-information Display, LED headlamps, an Electrochromic Rear-View Mirror, a 3D Panoramic View Monitor, Blind Sport Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and even a Front Digital Video Recorder.

On the connectivity and entertainment side of things, you'll get an Apple CarPlay head unit, also with Android Auto-ready connectivity when the service is available in Malaysia officially. Wireless charging and a Vehicle Telematics System also add a level of value to the product that we rarely see in this category.

You can even buy it on a nine-year finance plan, starting at just RM 498 a month with an additional RM 59 a month for the Toyota Service Savers package. After your first three years, that installment amount increases slightly, and the last three years give you the option to trade up for another brand new Toyota.
